WC Indiana | I am trying to rent 500 acres and the owner wants to index the cash rent to an average CBOT price from Jan 1 through June 30.
Do any of you know a website where I could type in a date range (Jan 1 through June 30) and get an average price for a commodity month, say December 2010? Then when I pay the the rent if this average is higher we divide it by the initial reant.
We are trying to word this contract and find an easy way that each person knows where they are at.
If anyone else has an easier way to do this let me now.
