Subject: Cargill "Pro" Pricing

We had some bushels that had to be sold through the Big C, so we signed a small portion of our crop up with the "pro" pricing program for the 2010 crop. Well the "pro's" must have been taken as off guard as everyone else with this Fall's rally, as of today we are committed at 4.14 minus a 12 cent fee minus basis may I remind you this is for 2010 grain. The contract was entered into last December when CZ10 was trading around 4.30, right now I'm just thankful that we don't have much in this program and that it is only a one year commitment.

Anyone have similar experiences? Maybe this average goes up by the time we actually deliver the grain next winter???
