Subject: Hogs

Ok guys I have been reading on this broad for about 2 years now and have learn lots. First off I am a 34 year old farmer. Now the question I have for you guys is this. We have had two hog producer file bankrupts last week. Now we only have two grower. Prestage and Murphy Brown (Smithfield foods). These producers say they are losing $30/head. How long are they going to be able to hold on? If the livestock company's fall around here there will be nothing here. Does anyone see a bright light at he end of the tunnel? Should one still keep growing or should just hold on to what we have until things get better? I have never seen this stuff before in my life. Looking for some guide ness.

The two company's that have filed are Coharie Farms and Coastal Plains.

Just asking where is this going to end?

Thanks
