Subject: Another harvest headache??

SC Iowa
Have been hearing more info in past 24-36 hours about propane being allocated....let's see, Iowa corn harvest not at 25% and industry going to have to live on an energy diet balance of the fall??

Sources have told me it's affecting the MAPCO pipeline (link below) and that allocations will likely be 80% of summer usage....another source told me that is why their business runs an aggressive summer fill program---so they are assured of more fall supply if situations like this develops...

You know how these things work....one area gets allocated and everyone scurries to the next possible terminal and on and on it goes....pretty soon everyone is in the soup together..

good luck ....and also heard of some price increases due to increased freight/logistics of going to more distant terminals..
