High Springs, Florida | I got home from work Monday and soon as I walked into the house it smelled like something had died in there. I asked the wife, what in the heck was that smell. "I'm cooking some salmon!" Well, I told her that I was not eating any of it, no way. She gave me a funny look and went over to the frying pan and got a piece of it and immediately spit it out. The rest went directly in the garbage and I took it outside to the garbage can.
We had leftover BBQ chicken and ribs that night.
We did not check the package for an expiration date. The grocery we got it from has a very good reputation.
I, myself only buy fish from the local fish market. Grocery store "fresh fish" is a gamble. I have found this out many times. | |
