Van Dyne, WI | What has been your experience with the 3 in. sickle sections vs the 1.5 inch section or tiger jaw type section. I'm looking at upgrading to a JD 920 head and it has the small sections and my 918 has the 3 inch. I've been happy with the performance of the 3 inch but know some like the tiger jaw setup. I know both will do a good job when new but what about longevity? Does one work better in certain conditions? Cutting wheat and SB-some beans in 30 inch rows and some drilled. Thanks! | |
