Subject: Great Plains YP planter photos

Seneca Kansas 66538
Clicked a few photos today of the Great Plains Yield Pro planter. If you have questions just ask away. I took quite a few photos while I was stopped on top of a fairly steep terrace. I usually just drive over the top of the terrace while planting so you can see in the photos how much flex this toolbar does have and these photos are a long ways from being flexed out. Some other photos I snapped would be of the 3 point hitch set up, very slick havent had a problem with it at all. I took some photos of the row units so persons could look at the parrallel linkages I was talking about in an earlier post. Next I would mention the down pressure springs, they can all be adjusted on this planter in just a couple minutes (32 rows). One particular photo is where I was going down through a twisty kinda slope and it shows how the center of the toolbar actually hangs from the beams above it and allows some impressive flexibility. Ok Ill post the photos. I forgot to mention the photo showing the seed tank. If you want to use ProBoxes, all you do is pull a pin and fold the rear catwalk back around to the side of the planter, take a forklift of loader, remove the tank securing pins and lift the tank up and back out. This is the same landing area that you would place your Probox. I have been using the seed tank the last couple of weeks because I am planting soybeans and the tank holds 80 bushels compared to the 50 bushel proboxes. I have also found it just as simple to haul my seed totes to the field on a trailer and then lift them with a loader at the field and dump them straight into the tank instead of using the tender truck, but you can also just use a tender truck for loading at the field as well.
