Eight more counties - 3 in Arkansas and 5 in Mississippi - were added to the confirmed list late today for Asian soybean rust (ASR). One in Mississippi's south Delta, Issaquena, was confirmed over the weekend.

Desha County in Arkansas appears to the farthest north for ASR so far this year. That puts it about 3 counties south of West Memphis.
