What happened to all the late planted corn? I thought most of Iowa and a good part of the rest of the cornbelt didn't get a large precentage of thier corn crop planted until late May or early June. Did all this corn catch up on heat units and is out of danger to a normal freeze. In our area I have corn planted the last a April that would normally be black layer but is still only 50% starch line. I am wondering if the early corn will come off a touch later than normal but what about the later corn?
