tomah wi | Contacted local suppler to apply Headline on some of our corn aerially how late is to late to apply and get most effect? last year I had it done also on one field just to try got it on video cool shots done when corn was just starting to tassel. now my latest verity is tussled the early stuff has completely pollinated I haven't seen or heard the plane yet wondering If we missed the window. For the most part corn/beans look very good 150- 175 corn 45-50 beans is very possible considering the tremendous 1st crop hay 2 ton and 2nd crop 1.5 ton we have had already this year also wheat running 70-85 bushel excellent.... Last year we had frost on Sept 15th everything dryed down nicely corn @16%out of field but IF history repeats its self this year the corn wont make good silage this year we will need a late fall here to bring crops to maturity here in north central WI.. | |
