Subject: Need hay expert advice

It is very dry here in east Texas and I have some hay that is short and has been fertilized for about 30 days now and it is not much maybe 20 bales to the acre,it is light green,we have been having 100 plus days here for awhile and not much or any rain in sight,I am wondering should I go ahead and cut the hay and hope for some rain later or wait and get some rain to freshen up the hay and then cut it? Can't decide what to do but I know that I will get some good advice here. I forgot to say that this is Tifton 85 bermuda grass and some coastal. thanks
