| Got a set of cattle that I've had on a Wet DDG ration for about 2 months. Switched them to basically the same ration with Dry DDG's when the wet ran out and intake has gone way up. Not sure exactly how much, but definately more than the moisture difference. Those cattle hadn't really been looking "full" on the wet ration, but I hadn't thought too much about it. Right about the time I was switching I had another guy tell me the same thing, and then Friday night I was talking to the sale barn buyer and he said he had had the same experience going from Wet DDG's to Wet Gluten. At this point it looks like it may be worth the premium to stick with the dry product.
Any observations?
