Devils Lake, ND | Which is better? The United Truck Parts bumper is what used to be DMI, but I'm not sure they sell one just like the old DMI. I just sent them an email on this, but it looks to me like they are receiver-hitch only, (no drawbar), and they mount BELOW your existing bumper. I don't like that.
The Brute II (sold by AgSystems here in the northern plains) is a bumper-replacement, drawbar style. It looks OK, but not as tough as a DMI. (I saw a DMI hitch wear out two pickups, and is still running on a third...with lots of abuse.) And I bet the Brute II is somewhat cheaper.
Any experience with the Brute II? I don't want to hear about the poseurs, like P&H, Shuck, ect. | |
