Subject: Atrazine carry over question

Central IL
Practical application question, as I know what the label says.

Am I hosed on rotating to soy next year if I spray on the 12th?

My pre-emerge application of Harness Xtra 5.6L has now become a post emerge application. The plan at this point is to spray Thursday AM. This would make it June 12. The label (because of the atrazine) states do not rotate to non corn or sorghum the following year if sprayed after June 10. The field would be rotated to soybeans next year, provided I'm not too far off target. I've never sprayed atrazine in June let alone after June 10, so have no personal experience here.

We've had EXCESSIVE moisture this year, thus this application is WAY late, just like planting was (May 26).

This would normally have gone down right in front of or behind the planter, unfortunately the only thing in front of or behind the planter was rain.

EDIT: should have stated this is 1.5qt/A Harness Xtra, 22oz Power Max.
