Subject: Soybean inoculant and treating?

NW Minnesota
Dad picked up the seed beans at the elevator today and they wouldn't treat or inoculant them since we weren't going to be planting them within 24 hrs.  Is this right?  Not sure what they were going to use but obivously there must be something else out there not everyone can plant there beans within 24 hrs of delivery.  I know many people mix as they go but we've never had very good luck with that wet mess.  Last year we had pioneer beans and they were inoculated and treated days before we planted them.  What's everyone else using?  Just looking for some input, as everyone here has lots of great input. Thanks!
