Subject: Wheat fungicide-pull the trigger?

Hoisington, KS
Our wheat is anywhere from half flag leaf to just starting to head. Gave the aerial applicator the green light but now I'm second guessing myself because the wheat looks so good and disease pressure is about non-existent. The only thing I've found is a little tan spot but it's down on the leaves close to the ground. But I've heard you can have leaf rust and the symptoms not show for 7-10 days. Once the wheat is headed and you don't see much disease is it really beneficial to still put on a fungicide?
