SE KS | A neighbor just offered me some ground that he had wanted to put alfalfa in this spring but didn't. I'm going in with soybeans as soon as it dries out and he will follow with alfalfa this fall. My experience with beans is minimal and my experience with alfalfa is none. I'm wondering what fertizer mix, if any, would be recommended. I'm not wanting the beans to use up anything the alfalfa will need for him later in the year. I have no soil tests as up to a week ago he was still going to plant it.
Sidenote: I've been "lurking" here for awhile. Tons of great information. Thanks to all for contributing. | |
