Subject: Acreage Thoughts

What if all the talk about extra bean acres is true? Is it possible that we could see '08 corn significantly higher and '08 beans significantly lower? I can't see one selling off and the other marching higher, but I suppose it could happen. If the market thinks it has bought an excess in bean acres, I have to wonder if this scenario could play out. Has this ever happened in history? Let's say corn marched to $6 and beans fell back to $9. (This would be about a 1.5 multiplier).

Also... where does this wheat bubble end? We rarely grow wheat in this area, so I am not familiar with the wheat market. Is it getting borderline ridiculous, or am I off the mark with this comment?
