Head cold improved, thinking might still be fuzzy...as I review exports, we've sold 63% of our projected sales of corn & 74% of soybs....mkt year ends in August....wheat, we've sold 94%....mkt year ends in May. Winter wheat has yet to absorb any spring sunshine...corn will soon be pollinating in Argentina & weather still up in the air..need a lot of moisture as they've different soils than most of us are used to....in general the economic news has been mostly bad....lots of concern about spring acreage & price levels...yet these markets seem to generally hang tough..livestock and poultry numbers expanding...a constant 'wall of worry'....this stocks report might change things..but still feels like this market has to be given some room. Might also be senior citizen thinking...accidently dropped the spouse's checkbook in my wastebasket this morning..she just called from the store & not too happy.
