N/E Iowa | Looking at 5, 8 foot cement fenceline bunks, How many 1,400 pds cows can eat without being crowded? And what would be the cost? Iv'e been feeding out of wooden bunks and they don't last 3 years and there shot... I am also considering the heavy duty metal 20' steel bunks.
Just feeding corn and oats through the 6 months of winter... Thanks for any reply's. Open to suggestions!
Price of gaurd railing? Need to build some new cattle yard fence next spring. and i'm leaning towards the gaurd rail, instead of wooden 2x8's and having to replace them every 5 to 6 years...
