Subject: Windrower autosteer update

Pasco WA.
This week I demoed an EZsteer on the rotary windrower. We couldn't get it to stay on line. Kept weaving and the further you went the worse it got. The dealer thought the unit was defective and is supposed to come back with another one to try.

My neighbor demoed an EZsteer on a sickel windrower today. Did the exact same thing. He was dealing with a different dealer though. Both dealers were talking to each other and they still couldn't get it to work.

Same neighbor also has a rotary and they demoed the JD SF 1 system today. Stayed withing 6" and worked great. Too bad it lots more money. There is a JD rotary in the area running SF 2 and the owner says it's more accurate than anyone can drive it manually. So currently it looks like the JD system is working better than the EZsteer on a windrower. I sure wish they could figure out the EZsteer though because is lots cheaper.
