Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | The Trimble website now has Version 4.42 available for the Trimble Autopilot. V 4.41 is still listed and still states: (for EZ-Guide 500 only).
I could not find any release or support notes to explain the situation further, so I assume the following: 1) V 4.42 is the current version for all Trimble Autopilot installations except those using the EZ-Guide 500 and 2) If one is using the EZ-Guide 500 that the firmware should remain at 4.41.
I have one of each situation, I updated the Autopilot in the 8120 using a Trimble 332 to V 4.42. The 8310 with an Autopilot running with the EZ-Guide 500 was left at V 4.41.
I have not used the 8120 since the upgrade so I have no feeling for any changes/improvements that may have occurred.
Any further clarification would be appreciated.
