Surfing 550 km from the coast, in Munich/Germany

I have actually seen the place when visiting friends in Munich, very impressive!

it is a side canal of the river Isar, with obviously controlled flow. The stream is much smoother downstreams, allowing exercised swimmers to get out. I would not jump in there anyway...
