SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass! | My stepson and 14 year old granddaughter have been bow hunting in my timber since the season opened. This morning in the predawn rain they were walking to their stands together and he was attacked by something. Tore his coat sleeves clear through and his face and hands were deeply scratched. He hit whatever it was with his bow and his backpack was torn off. Granddaughter unhurt.
He is going to have the rabies shots. Raining hard then and since. No tracks. Twice this fall a pair of coyotes have stood 40 yd's. from their stands and howlled at them but I doubt that is what it was.
