This intelligent cable alarm system monitors LV and HV cable for theft and faults whether the cable is “dead” or energized. When triggered, the unit can automatically send a text message to three cell phones. The system can be used independently or linked via a radio to an armed response control centre. The unit’s aluminium shell is waterproof for outdoor use and is protected by an anti-tamper and vibration sensor. The unit has a built-in backup rechargeable battery.
