Subject: Old AG Text book

Virginia

A friend gave me an old school text book called "Productive Farming". It has 1911 and 1912 copyright dates. I was surprise to see a "modern brick silo". Some of the feed ingredients listed were interesting. Gluten meal, brewers grains, cottonseed meal, beet pulp, linseed meal......  Who knew they were so modern in 1912.  Dump rakes, grain binders, two gang plows were the latest in equipment. My dad farm with that equipment.

In the back of the book is written......

"Don't steal this book,

For fear of shame,

For here you see,

The owner's name.

William Kramer "

So if you see William Kramer from Plain City, Ohio tell him I have his old school book.
