Subject: Office call vs out patient

North West IA/western AZ
I've been seeing a new doctor about my foot problem. Usually I pay a copay for each office visit and the ins. picks up the rest. This new office wasn't interested in collecting the copay. After 3 mo. I get a bill form the office informing me that the ins co. paid $29 and I owe $75 (my copay is $45). I called Blue Cross and was informed I was being treated as an out patient therefore they pay a small % and I get to pick up the rest on my deductible. I was wondering why they were putting the stupid wrist bracelet and cutting it off 15 min later. What a load!
