Several years before Mom passed away she mentioned to me the Rose bush outside the bathroom window was from her Mothers . Mom passed on at age 97 and her Mom died when she was 13 yrs old and I being 64 and it's been there ever since I can remember so that bush has some years on it . I was relaying the info to my sister who lives in California and seems she would like to get a start from it. For some reason even my sister hadn't known that the Rose bush was from our Grandma's .
Question is can we cut a piece of stem off and put in a bottle of water or should we get a root cutting ? Curious as to how long a Rose bush can live ! Any ideas would be much appreciated . Tom
