Little River, TX | The Quack decided I was type 2 Diabetic and had to cut back on carbs and sweets.
I do like home made cranberry souse and here is a substitute. Sounds kind of nasty but taste good.
Congealed Cranberry Salad
1 small apple
1 small orange
1 package fresh cranberries
2 envelopes sugar free Jello (red) [I like cherry best]
Core the apple, cut the orange in wedges and remove seeds.
Place apple and orange in blender. Blend until fine pieces. Add package of cranberries ad blend until fine pieces.
Set aside.

Dissolve the 2 envelopes of sugar free Jello in 2 cups of HOT water.
Then add blended mixture.
Chill
In the jargon it is a free exchange treat. Eat all you want.
