Ohio | Kitchen is in need of updating, cabinets are good but the built in oven and built in range gotta go. Went back thru the archives and no one has posted on this. Presently everything is electric and we want to stay that way. The present oven is a narrow one compartment unit and I'am going to widen the opening for a more standard width unit. While doing the mods to the cabinet, should I get the the two door oven also? What features do you gals--guys like in the new ovens? What about ranges-- what kind of tops and features do you like and why? We will also have the opportunity to change the exhaust fan if we want too. What are the advantages of the counter draw verses a regular top draw hood? And lastly what appliances are you most pleased with---I would much rather spend a little more and get something that will last a lot longer (or is that day/option gone forever?).
