SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass! | Finished my 09 bean sales Friday. Average cash price recieved is $9.27. That was delivered to a local elevator at harvest so no trucking cost. I have 60 percent of the crop covered with $10.00 may calls that I have .75 in. Now "all" I have to do is decide when to exit and or roll the calls. The majority of my risk, storage and money costs are gone. I think I have done pretty well, yeah I wish I hadn't started selling at $8.00 but at the time I could see a very small chance prices would be what they are now, but profit is in the bank and more is possible.
