| I extend these comments only as a caution.
There are a few markets in which there exist experienced BARBERS ..if two fellows who are principals of a clearing member are enjoying their egg salad at the deli, after the close, & observe "we have picked up quite a bit of outside interest in the market' ..and as long as those folks have not extended written recommendations to clients ..they just might elect to initiate house positions against the flow.....
"Dressing up the Close" ..almost impossible in the larger markets ..but if I want, for example, to paint a higher or lower close on the charts.....and am one of the sponsors so-to-speak of a market....I will execute on the close whatever is required to accomplish such. | |
