Nw Oregon | Here’s a couple pictures of planting our sugar beets for seed. They direct seed them in raised beds then pull them and plant them in our fields after they go through and poke holes for the plants. (I forgot to get a picture of the tractor poking the holes.) I’ll put more on as the crop progresses. We had 60 guys out for a day and a half to get 30 acres in. It’s an expensive venture. And as the pictures show. Planting in northwest Oregon in January can be tough.
