Case IH 8575 large square baler. 23,810 bales on the counter. Clean machine in excellent condition. Makes 3x3 bales. I bought it several years ago to add to my small custom hay outfit, and am selling most of my equipment now.
(For reference, this is the same as a Hesston 4755
)
Major repair/ upgrades while I've owned it
-Major knotter reconditioning before 2019 season
-Rebuilt pickup before 2019 season, all new bearings, tines, and poly bands
-New tires spring of 2020
(have one used tire for a spare if you want it
)
Includes monitor, Harvestec electronic applicator, and an onboard moisture sensor.
(I never got sensor installed, but it goes with the baler.
)
This machine requires small 1000 PTO, and closed center pressure compensated hydraulic system on tractor to run the automatic bale tension system. I have the additional solenoid valve that can be added to enable running on a older open center hydraulic system. It will sell with baler.
(Just ask, I can probably tell you which system your tractor has
).
Have original operator's manual.
Packer arms are tight. Remote grease zerks were added to ease maintenance of packer crank. Has grease banks on machine for all other grease points, but no auto lube.
No last bale push off. I have never had much of an issue with this, as if you trip the knotter every flake for the last bale length or so they easily come out by hand once the pressure is dumped. I'm told that the original ejector didn't work well anyway.
Has a homemade bale chute because I forgot to put it down once and bent the original one all out of shape.
I've used this baler primarily for dry hay and straw, but it can be used for silage hay as well, if windrows aren't too large or wet.
Knotter seldom has a mistie.
You may notice that the baler is clean, but not washed. I don't like to get balers wet, and I keep them blown well. It was cleaned up before it was shedded for the winter. Always kept under roof.
I'm also including about a dozen balls of twine with the machine.
Asking $23,750. Will consider reasonable offers.
