This is a Harvest International 40ft bar with Dawn Pluribus Row units at 16 row 30" spacing. It has a mounted Montag blower and dry fertilizer tank.
This bar has central city scales with scale head, Dawn pluribus row units with pneumatic down pressure, EZ-Boom 2010 rate controller. Also can include an optional John Deere Dry Rate Controller for additional fee if desired.
I only ever used this bar to make strips- I never used any of the dry fertilizer equipment while I owned it- so I have never messed with figuring it out. So I have never used the blower, ez-boom rate controller, scales or scale head- but they were used by the previous owner. I think the scale sensors probably need to be replaced. Looks like it could use some new dry fertilizer hose to the row units.
I switched to a different shank style strip till bar, but it always made nice strips for me in the fall- I never used it in the spring.
Comes with a ton of spare parts, a whole brand new anhydrous ammonia kit which I never put on or used. Several new gauge wheel assemblies and coulters and lots of other parts. I put on a bunch of new gauge wheels and coulters- so all the coulters should be fine. The dawn pluribus components should be all field ready. I also replaced several tires, so it has pretty good tires on it. The last year I used it I replaced the main hydraulic block with a brand new one- several of the steel hydraulic lines had been rusting out so I replaced several with hoses- with intentions to put on new steel lines, I have the part numbers. This should be more or less field ready as far as just making strips- to put on fertilizer will take some work- but I would assume not too much.
It does have plenty of rust, which is from the previous use with dry fertilizer- but it was never much of a problem. I had intentions of cleaning the bar up and repainting- but haven't gotten around to it. This bar could be used as is to make strips, or with a little bit of work could be a really nice unit and apply dry fert in the strip. I just haven't had the time to work on it, and kind of moved on to another bar.
Putting it out there to see what interest there is- otherwise I may work on fixing it up a little bit more over the winter.
