I am again offering on-farm custom seed cleaning this year. I clean oats, rye, wheat, barley, any small grains.


My Crippen 488 fanning mill is capable of doing about 600bu/hr. This speed varies with moisture and dirtiness of grain. I charge by the hour, plus a travel charge of $1 per mile one way. I waive the travel fee if you have 2000 bu or more. Cost per bushel usually ends up around $1.50 per bushel.
My cleaner has an infeed auger and outfeed auger, so you only need to provide the grain. I can unload into semis, gravity boxes, augers with no assistance. I can also fill proboxes or super sacks with the help of a loader. Leave the old clipper in the shed and call me to get it done fast.
