Subject: soybean in fuel tank

Pittsburg, Kansas

I remember many years ago Dad had a 45 JD that somehow got a soybean in the gas tank. It would roll around to the right (wrong?) spot every few days and plug the gass hole where the sediment bowl was - was just the right size. Dad would blow back through the hose and everything was fine till it rolled around to the hole again. Finished harvets that way. I don't remember him ever takiing the tank off - must have found a way to get it out the top or break it up or something.
