Not sure on the comparison. I had a Tye Drill, not a NT tho.

My opener brackets were aluminum (what the opener disks bolted to). When standing behind the drill... the openers on the left side were left handed threads and right handed on the right side.

I ruined one setup finding this out the "hard way". They can be a pain, but on the entire 20', I got all loose after I figured out what was what.

The 5/8th bolt set up on the replacements are definately an improvement.
