Ethridge, TN | Tried this with an older 9600 that came with the non-perfed filler plates. The golf balls worked in Soybeans and Corn to keep those filler plates from loading with dust, but you had lower cylinder speeds. Problem came in harvesting wheat, as the high rpms did pin the balls out to the plates, and they would become encased in the dirt that one was trying to keep knocked out. Gave up and just replaced the old fillers with the newer perferated ones. | |
