the a's had external brakes/ rotors that the dirt eat for lunch. The newer models have internal brakes, I am not sure when they changed them.....I don't think in the a series the brakes would have anything to do with the steering oil temperature. Did you do an oil analysis on the steering oil system? You may try that and see if something is starting to lay down on you. Otherwise I would say the autosteer would indeed oversteer the machine, but you could tell that from the seat.
