I've had the same problem with mine since I bought it and the more steering I do the more it heats up. I'm really thinking hard about installing an electric fan. I thought some of the problem might be due to old fan belts, but it didn't really improve much with the newer fan belts either. I do have a brake problem that seems to keep the brake pressure system cycling a lot (brakes are shot except for the emergency - another thing to fix when I can figure out a good fix for it). I'm thinking the cycling might be heating the oil as well, but I'm not sure the brakes share the steering reservior.
