Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | Yes,a small block chevy dist is identical to a big block except for slight difference in advance weights and springs. The distributor and most of the flywheels (internal balance pre 86) are the only parts that interchange between SB and BB,and then only to the low deck car and pickup BB engines. The tall deck truck only BB engines need a longer distributor,which is only tall deck 366-427 and rare tall deck 454..
