Yep, if you have the impeller off you have won the battle. I would go ahead and take the pump housing off the motor and replace both seals. I would also see if I could come up with a way to make a weep hole between the pump seal and the crankcase seal if there is not one. I seem to recall later models having this design but I may be confusing it with another engine driven pump. If there is an opening in the space between the two seals it would make this problem unlikely. |
