The oil was just a light gray color, and did not smell like gas. I looked like water in the oil. I took the pump apart and the seals are in bad shape. Very brittle and cracked. Do I need to remove the entire pump housing from the motor or can I just remove the big part? I did not tug on the spring, how does it come apart? Thanks
