Subject: cat 65 steering oil temp

cat 65A steering oil overheats. had cat out this spring to check it out and they replaced a boost pump. it turns better now but the oil still gets very hot. its always run warm ever since we got it (1991) but never like this. one hour of running and its into the red. have cleaned the cooler with air and pressure washer but that hasn't helped. i have noticed that when i take the reservoir cap off there is pressure in the tank. could a blocked vent cause this? hope to not have to get cat service in here cause the wallet cant take much more of their "service" . pay the most ( by far ) and get the least from them vs other brands but that's another topic. any help is appreciated
