DM-the 2600 is a good planter also. The 3600 units are heavier-that may mean more if you're no-till. 2600 used fiberglass boxes-3600 had poly. You could put box extensions on 2600 for both bean & corn boxes. Shoup sells them. None made for 3600 that I know of...though their boxes are slightly larger initially. Along w/Kinze parts-I'd sure look @ Shoup for repair parts & mods.

Adding insecticide will add additional chain, a disengage, and an idler. It will make the RH side of the planter wider in transport. Just something to remember w/mailboxes.

There are lots of Kinze dealers in OH, IN, & IL besides your home state. You might be sure you've widened your search out far enough. You might find a good priced machine outside of your area. They can be trucked pretty easily.
