I don't know about a 1780, but our 1790 is no where near 16' wide. It folds to 4 rows on the back and the wheel outside of the fourth row is about the widest point.

Neighbors have three point hookups built on all their Kinzes. Looks like a good arrangement to me. I've not heard anything about them being hard to get around, at least as it pertains to gradability. I think they raise pretty high off the ground unless you are crossing reeally extreme terrain.
