nw pa | If it were mine there are a couple of things to try, one is a gallon or so of antifreeze. just take the small insert out and rig up a rubber hose and funnel to dump it in. Another thing that seems to work on smaller tires but would take quite a lot to fix is automatic transmission oil it softens the rubber enough to make a good seal. don't want to overdue it though. Might soften it to much. Would have to do that slowly to avoid problems but does work good on small tires(pick-up size). We use and old mastitis injector and squirt three or four tubes into the tire.through the stem. also keeps the rims like new. | |
