thumb of Michigan | I would just bite the bullet and find someone with R12 to top it off. Come to Michigan and We can do it for you at our shop. We still have two 1994 379's and our mechanic buys R12 for those trucks. He just went through one of them a couple weeks ago and bought a keg for around $450. He was suprised it was so cheap.
If you go to 134 you will have to change everything over. Look at your condenser it is a third of the size of a 134 condenser. My tractor is 134 and isn't as cold as the R12 trucks. I think it snows in them at night. | |
