Subject: ignition module

SC North Dakota

1979 C-70 with HEI quit in the middle of nowhere. Needed truck right away so replaced cap, rotor, and module. Started right up. Is there any way to test a LX 301 module with Multi Meter? Hate to throw away if it is still usable. Problem was that rotor was loose on its mounting. tia
